Elaine gives talk about entrepreneurship at California Black Expo Event.

It was a distinct honor to be invited by the California Black Expo Association to be one of their featured speakers at their “Women’s History Celebration Mixer” on March 22, 2018.  The organizers asked me create a speech about my entrepreneurial lifestyle. My speech was entitled, “The No-Paycheck Life,” and of course it included how my love of travel and travel journalism has helped fuel my law practice and real estate ventures as well as the strategies I developed to create and sustain self employment for 20 of the past 25 years.  The Expo Association supports, celebrates and encourages entrepreneurship in black communities across the country. The event was held at US Bank Branch in San Leandro.
