Nomadness Tribe on facebook has over 16,000 serious black travelers in their ranks. You have to join the group to be able to post questions on their newsfeed. When I was on my way to Peru, I posted a query and got a response that next day from a couple actually traveling in Peru at the time and they gave me the 411. The next day I got a message from a black american guy who hooked me up with his adopted Peruvian family in El Carmen, the largest black township in Peru.
